It is located at 1 and 3 Bishan Road, Kulangsu Island, and is now a major cultural heritage site protected at the national level. The courtyard of Former Kulangsu Mixed Court covers an area of 5,600 square metres. There are two two-storey western-style buildings in the courtyard symmetrically laid out on either side of the site. They have a simple, un-ornamented design in early Modernist style. The Kulangsu Mixed Court was a major architectural heritage site of the judicial organ of Kulangsu during its time as an international settlement and witnessed how the judicial power was governed and exercised of Kulangsu as the Historic International Settlement. It is now used as the exhibition hall of the history of community governance and the exhibition place of community activation and utilization.
