It is located at 15 Zhonghua Road, Kulangsu Island, and is currently a major protected historic building. It was originally called “Chonggao Villa”, also known as “Chu Songtian house”, and was built in 1932. Covering an area of 966 square metres, the building is a three-storey Nanyang style building with a south facing colonnade. The building has a variety of facades, rich decorative details and exotic customs. It is currently used as a cafe by the descendants of the family, which is a model for the activation and utilization of folk historical buildings.
