Guanzhaishan has great scientific research value and aesthetic value. It is known as the best landscape of the upper reaches of the rivers in Fujian Province. There are more than 10 ancient academies, 30 cliff carvings built since the Song Dynasty, and more than 100 calligraphy works of ancient and modern celebrities such as Lin Zexu, Ji Xiaolan, Luo Dan and Qiao Yu.
