Xingeng Villa, the former site of the Command and the Political Department of the Fourth Red Army is located at No. 11 Tingjiang Lane, Tingzhou Town. It faces south and is a brick and wood structure of the palace. It consists of a gate building, courtyard, front hall, back hall, wing, attic, etc., covering an area of 532 square meters. In March 1929, the Fourth Red Army entered Fujian for the first time, where its Command and the Political Department were located. Comrade Mao Zedong presided over an investigation meeting with six kinds of people and an expanded meeting of the Fourth Red Amy Front Committee in the hall.
Zhonghua Christian Church, the former site of the Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China (the old residence of Zhou Enlai), is located at No. 43 People’s Lane, Shuidong Street, Tingzhou Town. It faces east and consists of an auditorium, a back building, brick and wood structure, covering an area of 506 square meters and a construction area of 511 square meters. In February 1932, it was announced that the Fujian-Guangdong-Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee would be transformed into Fujian Provincial Party Committee. In early April, a military conference to attack Zhangzhou was held. Zhou Enlai stayed here to work in charge of the branch and lived upstairs.
It was declared as the third batch of national key cultural relic protection sites in 1988.
