Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition: Huotong string lion is mainly pulled by the head rope, tail rope and gill rope to make the string lion on the performance stage sit, squat, swing the head, etc., it can also contain the ball, spit the ball, plus the light changes, spit clouds and fire, and the strength of percussion music. This unique form of artistic expression is loved by people, which has established the position of Huotong string lion in Chinese folk culture, and has the reputation of “Chinese unique skill”. In May 2006, Huotong string lion was approved by the State Council and listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage representative projects.
