Taimu Mountain: Located in Fuding City on the boundary of Fujian and Zhejiang. Taimu Mountain is a scenic spot with peak forest caves of miarolitic potassium feldspar granite as its feature, integrating mountains, seas, rivers, islands and cultural landscapes. It has a viewing area of 92.02 square kilometers and a protected area of 200 square kilometers. It has Taimu mountain ridges, Jiulixi waterfall, etc. It is known as the “grand view of mountain and sea” and “fairyland on the sea”. It is a national 5A scenic spot, a national scenic spot and a national natural heritage. In 2010, Ningde World Geopark composing of Taimu Mountain, Baiyun Mountain and Baishuiyang scenic spot, was listed in the list of World Geoparks.
